1976-1977 Wrestling Season

Varsity   The 1976-1977 team finished as conference champions. Bill Heintzleman, John Wilder, and Ted Kazemier finished as district champions. Kazemier and Wilder both finished 3rd in the state. 1975-1976 Wrestling Season

Varsity   The Lowell wrestling team finished 9-2 in 1975-1976. Jeff Rickert placed 3rd and John Wilder placed 2nd in regionals. Roger Graham, Bill Heintzleman, Dave Hendrix, Dan Kropf, and John Wilder all finished as district champions. 1974-1975 Wrestling Season

Varsity   The 1974-1975 wrestling team went 9-4-1. Heintzleman, Graham, Dykstra, Grummet, Klahn, Hendrix, and Rickert qualified for districts. Going into regionals, Klahn had 14 pins, Rickert had 13. 1972-1973 Wrestling Season

Varsity Team picture coming soon. The 1972-1973 team finished as district champions and placed 4th at regionals. Dale Dawson and Jerry Kropf (29-5) were co-captains. Dawson and Gary Weimer (30-2) were named team MVP. Most improved went to Jerry Gauger. Dawson set the record for most reversals (52) and most predicaments (48). Weimer set the record for most

Varsity   The 1971-1972 wrestling team went 18-4, qualifying seven to regionals. Those were Gary Weimer, Dale Dawson, Mack Truax, Jerry Kropf, Kraig Haybarker, Paul Klifman, and Dave Wisner. Varsity   The 1995-1996 wrestling team won a district championship and finished 5-2 in conference and 17-13 overall. Dan Spicer finished 7th in the state individually. Varsity   The 1970-1971 Lowell Wrestling team finished as conference champions and had four all-conference wrestlers: Dale Dawson, Kurt Inman, Jim Richards, Tom Rasch, Gordon Kelly, and Dave Wisner. Varsity The 1962-1963 team won the conference championship finishing 9-1 in the league and 1st in the conference tournament. Tom Davis finished 2nd in the state and Mike Foss won Lowell’s first ever individual state championship. Varsity   The 1960-1961 wrestling team had over 30 members. Jim Bonn and Charles Kyser served as captains. The team finished 4th in the Grand Valley Conference with a 3-7 conference record. 1994-1995 Wrestling Season

Varsity Picture coming soon (4/21/2017). – JS The 1994-1995 wrestling team won an OK White Championship, and Hemlock Invitational title, finishing 17-7 overall.
