The Lowell Red Arrow Bowling teams were in action on Wednesday, February 6 against the Rangers of Forest Hills Central at Eastbrook Lanes for the first Conference match in more than two weeks, due to the recent inclement weather.
The Lady Arrows got off to a great start, winning the both Baker games to take a 10-0 lead heading into the Regular 2-game set. In the individual matches, the Girls took 4 of 5 points and total in game one, 2 of 5 points in game two, and match total for an overall 22-8 victory.
Taking points in the match were: Savannah Escobedo, 1; Olivia Dennie, 1; Brianna Lachowski, 1; Jessica Hull, 1; and Emma Blakie, 2., High games during the match were bowled by: Savannah Escobedo, 140; Brianna Lachowski, 149; and Emma Blakie, with a pair of 146 games.
Weather permitting, the Bowling teams are scheduled to be in action again at 3:30 p.m. Thursday, February 7 in a weather-rescheduled Conference match against Greenville at The Bowling Alley of Ionia, and in the Mona Shores Invitational at Sherman Lanes in Muskegon on Saturday, February 9 at 9 a.m.
