Lowell Red Arrows Varsity struggled to get their offense going on Wednesday, getting easily dispatched by Traverse City West, 11-1.

In the first inning, Lowell Red Arrows Varsity got their offense started. Jackson Helder singled on a 1-0 count, scoring one run.

Traverse City West pulled away for good with two runs in the third inning. In the third Laracey doubled on the first pitch of the at bat, scoring one run.

Traverse City West scored eight runs in the fifth inning. The offensive firepower by Traverse City West was led by Ruskowski, Hoibregsle, Campbell, Brown, Dekuipers, and Moore, who each had RBIs in the inning.

Hayes took the win for Traverse City West. He surrendered one run on three hits over five innings, striking out nine.

Helder took the loss for Lowell Red Arrows Varsity. He surrendered three runs on three hits over four innings, striking out eight.

Gavin Hoffman, Connor Douma, and Helder each managed one hit to lead Lowell Red Arrows Varsity.

Laracey went 3-for-4 at the plate to lead Traverse City West in hits.
