We’re down to our final two senior student-athletes of the week. Even though the class of 2018 has graduated, and school is out, we still are excited to continue to celebrate the class of 2018.
Our last male senior student-athlete of the week for 2017-2018 is Josh Hackstedt. During his time at LHS, Josh has been a part of the Lowell Red Arrows Baseball program.
Josh earned honorable mention all-conference honors in the OK White during his senior season. He was one of the leading batters for the team this season as well. He threw a no-hitter in a win against Ottawa Hills.
Our last female senior student-athlete of the week for 2017-2018 is Joanna Link. During her time at LHS she has been a part of the LHS track & field and cross country teams, winning a conference championship with the Lady Arrows track & field team this spring.
During high school Joanna was also a part of our school’s chapter of National Honors Society. She competed on the cross country team for the first time her senior year and improved on her personal best times throughout the season. In 2017 she ran a 35.61 second 200m dash and a 3:08.82 800m, both personal records at the time.
Thanks to J-Dubb’s Signature Subs for sponsoring our senior student-athletes of the week for 2017-2018.
