Red Arrows News · J-Dubbs’ Signature Subs Senior Student-Athletes of the Week – Emily Brown and Noah Worsley

Article Written by Justin Scott and Drew Davidson

This week, we feature two more outstanding seniors! Read more about Emily and Noah below. Fun fact about our seniors this week is that they are not only our senior student-athletes of the week, they are also cousins!

Emily Brown

Our female senior student-athlete of the week is Emily Brown. Emily is a two-year member of the Lowell Crew team.

Her favorite memory while competing in Crew is the team dinners put on by the parents. “It’s always a blast with my second family,” she added. Her favorite sport is rowing but she enjoys baseball and softball as well. Her favorite athlete is fellow Lowell Crew team member Hailey Boggs because she is the one that has pushed her to be her best during the Crew season.

Academically, Emily has taken several AP classes and has done great work in the classroom being a part of the honor roll and getting A’s. When the crew coaches need a little help she is always willing to do so.

After graduation, Emily plans to attend Central Michigan University in the fall for broadcasting and communications to continue her love for radio. She also enjoyed spending long fun nights at the football games with friends.

Our male senior-student athlete of the week is Noah Worsley. Noah is a member of the Lowell High School Shooting Team. The team competes in sporting clays and trap and this year they have over 25 student-athletes involved and won a national championship in 2016. Noah played baseball through his sophomore year as well, but shooting happens to be his favorite sport. His favorite sports memory at LHS is meeting his best friend while on the team. In addition he enjoys spending time with his friends when he is not in school.

Noah’s favorite athlete is former MLB and NFL player, Bo Jackson. He takes a lot of pride in his varsity letters earned and has been a big part of the team during his time competing for LHS.

After high school, Noah plans on going to Grand Rapids Community College to focus on auto mechanics. We wish these two the best of luck going forward as they graduate from LHS in less than two weeks! Thanks to J-Dubb’s Signature Subs of Lowell for sponsoring our senior student-athletes of the week!
