Meet Recap

Perfect conditions and a firm course allowed the Arrows to rewrite the LHS record book while taking 7th place at the Allendale invitational. The Lady Arrows finished behind six schools who will be at the state meet come November. Leading the Arrows were Haley Nieuwkoop running 19:35 (#2 JR time), Katrina Droski 19:43 (#3 SR time), Audrey Conrad 19:53 (#1 So time), Lauren Aud 19:57 (#9 JR Time), and Alexis Haines 20:04 (#4 SO time).

Finishing the scoring for the Arrows were Dawn Kondor 20:57 (#16 SR time) and Jada Millhisler 21:01 (#20 SO time).

The Arrows also set a new top five average time of 19:51 breaking the 2002 time of 19:59 set at the state meet by the team of Wojciakowski, Swab, Blanding, Kent, and Plattner.

The PR’s continued in the JV race as six of the seven girls set new records with one setting her season best time. Leading the JV harriers was Ashley Boehr coming in at 21:32.

The Arrows head to Riverside Park on Wednesday for the third OK White Jamboree.
