At the 2017 Seniors Honor Night held on Tuesday, May 23, many Red Arrow student-athletes were recognized for their academic and athletic accomplishments.
Max Bishop was recognized as the only student-athlete who participated in three sports for all four years. Max participated in Football, Wrestling and Lacrosse. He will continue his education and wrestling career at Wabash College.
Corah Kaufman and Nate Stephens were honored as the 2017 Athletes of the Year as voted by the Varsity Coaching staff.
Corah participated in Gymnastics and Track. She is the first gymnast in Lowell history to place at MHSAA State Individual Finals all four years. She will be competing in the MHSAA Track State Finals in the Pole Vault, and recently committed to Central Michigan University to continue her education and compete in Pole Vault at the collegiate level.
Nate Stephens was a four-year varsity letter winner in Football and Baseball, and was named All Conference and MLive Dream Team for Football. He was recently named to the MHSBCA All Star Baseball Game to be played at Comerica Park. Nate will be continuing his education and baseball career at Harvard University.
Five Red Arrows were recognized by the MHSAA as Scholar-Athletes. Brennan Battle, Eli Boulton, Garret Taylor, Trevor Sherman, and Darby Fuller were honored by the MHSAA as Scholar-Athletes.
Fifty-seven Red Arrow student-athletes earned OK White Scholar Athlete certificates for a cumulative GPA of 3.5 or over and participation in four seasons of athletic competition.
