Lowell girls bowling knocked off Jenison by a score of 22.5-7.5 today at Eastbrook lanes. This was both teams’ first OK White Conference match of the year. The Red Arrows were led by senior and returning state finalist Ally Stockreef who bowled a 190 and a 183 in individual matchups.

High school bowling consists of two sets of baker games, which is a team-based bowling competition. Then the 2nd part of the match is based on 2 sets of individual matchups.

Lowell took 6 points out of a possible 10 in the bakers games.

In individual matchups the following were high games for our Red Arrows: sophomore Laura Lachowski bowled a 131, senior Marilla Marks bowled a 136, Ally Stockreef bowled a 190, exchange student Pei-wen “Annie” Fu bowled a 113, and sophomore Morgan Allison bowled a 123.

Girls bowling competes next on Wednesday vs. Caledonia at Eastbrook Lanes.
