Boys Varsity Bowling, Girls Varsity Bowling · Boys and Girls Bowling Showcase Their Skills Despite Losses to Northview


Boys – Junior Logan Smith was able to lead LHS yesterday with a 195 and 197 respectively.

Lowell was without sophomore Carson Clark yesterday, who earned all-conference honors last season.

Tim Buechler and Xavier Taylor picked up plenty of strikes in both the baker games and individual play.

Ben Stewart bowled a 152 in individual play with a strike in the 10th frame, and also bowled a 192 in the final game.

Girls – Lowell girls bowling fell to Northview yesterday at Eastbrook Lanes, a team that entering the season had won 70 consecutive duals in OK Bronze competition and made the state tournament last week.

Leading the way for Lowell were seniors Ally Stockreef and sophomore Morgan Allison. Stockreef, who qualified for the state finals last year, bowled a 162 in her first individual game.

Morgan Allison bowled a 156 in her 1st individual game, her 2nd best competition score.

Senior Marilla Marks also had a good day for LHS. Both teams are back in action on Monday.
