Game Recap

LHS scored 3 minutes into the District Semi-Finals vs. Cedar Springs on a nice pass from Jay Stadt, to his brother Ezra. Ezra did the rest by putting the ball past the GK. LHS had a few more opportunities but was not able to score until late in the half on two direct kicks awarded for penalties on Cedar Springs. The first came 30 yds out that Elijah Dixon bent around the wall to the far post and the next was converted by Jay Stadt on a Penalty kick (PK) to put Lowell up 3-1 at half. The second half looked like the first half with two more goals coming off penalties. It was Elijah Dixon converting his second free kick from 25 yds out, this time bending the ball around the ball to the near post and Connor Cater converting the PK. Final score was 5-1 and LHS moves to the District Finals to play Forest HIlls Northern.
