Game Recap

Outstanding match between LHS and FHN. Both teams played a fast pace game that felt like a race track at times. FHN scored first on a quick counter attack 9 minutes into the first half but it would not take long for LHS to even the score. It was less than 2 minutes later that Ezra Stadt passed the ball to Jonny Draigh who scored the equalizer. This was Jonny’s 32 goal of the season and a NEW LHS scoring record that had been in place since 2002.
The game remained tied until the final minute when Ezra Stadt raced 70 Yds with the ball at his feet, dodging players until he made it into the goal box, passed it back to his brother, Jay Stadt. Jay hit a one timer, game winner into the far post with 15 seconds left on the clock.
This was a BIG team win, many players playing well but the defense did an outstanding job holding the #1 D2 team in the state to one goal. The defense was led by Elijah Dixon, Conner Cater, Braiden Hamilton, Nigel Mika, and a couple big time stops by Gabe Bendal in Goal.

Record: 13-6-0
Conference: 9-3-0
Next Game: Districts Playoffs @ FHN Wed. 5 PM
