Meet Recap

The Lady Arrows started the 2016 season by defending their title at the Hesperia Baker Woods Invitational. The Arrows were lead by junior Jillian Fidler (3rd) 23:39 and soph Lauren Aud (5th) 24:38. Finishing in the top ten and bringing home trophies were juniors Dawn Kondor (9) and Katrina Droski (10) posting times of 25:37 and 25:40 respectively. Closing out the scoring for the Arrows were frosh Audrey Conrad (11) 25:48, soph Amber Clouse (13) 26:24, and sr Kyla Dixon (20) 27:28. Other Arrows bringing home hardware were sophmores Marlie Fowler (24) and Haley Nieuwkoop (28).

It was a great start for the Arrows as the Baker Woods course is considered one of the hardest in the state and times are generally a couple of minutes off norm. That is promising as the team worked through the meet having multiple hard practices to get ready for the OK White season which starts after Labor Day.
